Correspondence, advertisements, articles, clippings, and promotional and supplementary materials concerning Nutritional Guidance Centers, Inc., a firm promoting a fad diet cure for obesity, 1969; Nutritional Progress Scientific Corporation, a quack firm selling salt as a cure-all, 1961-1971; Nutritional Research Associates, a firm which prescribed its faddish food products on the basis of a phony urinalysis, 1953-1974; and Nuxated Iron, a patent medicine allegedly endorsed by Pope Benedict XV, which contained no iron despite its claims, 1897-1952.
